About two thirds of parents thought schools wouldn’t be safe for in-person classes until well into 2021, and parents’ enthusiasm for homeschooling has been steadily waning since its peak this past summer.
Most say they want schools to provide curriculum and instruction for remote learning.
Meanwhile, support for school choice—education savings accounts, vouchers, charter schools—has remained high, reaching record levels throughout the pandemic.
