PET PEEVES

According to Chris Johnson, Safety Awareness Program Manager for the U-S Postal Service, dogs love the great outdoors, but when your mail carrier arrives, make sure your dog is properly restrained or, better yet, moved inside. Last year, nearly six thousand letter carriers were attacked by dogs. The Postal Service wants to provide first-class service and keep carriers safe. Letter carriers deliver every day, and dog owners can deliver safety for them. Keep your dog on a leash or away from the door so your carrier can deliver safely to your mailbox.
